A listed engineering company is looking for talented System Engineers for their  Security Surveillance / CCTV Solutions Team. The Engineer will provide technical support to the sales team in Hong Kong, acting as a communication bridge between the manufacturers and the sales team. This role will be responsible for understanding the technical capabilities and requirements of the CCTV products, translating those to the sales team, and working with the manufacturers to resolve any technical issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for the CCTV product portfolio, providing in-depth knowledge to the sales team
• Act as the main point of contact between the sales team and the product manufacturers for technical inquiries and issue resolution
• Analyze customer requirements and match them to the appropriate CCTV solutions
• Assist the sales team in preparing technical proposals and presentations for customers
• Coordinate with the manufacturers to understand product roadmaps, new features, and any technical updates
• Provide training to the sales team on the CCTV products and technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues reported by the sales team or customers
• Collaborate with the R&D team to provide feedback on product improvements and new feature requests from the field

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Engineering related field
• 2+ years of experience as a system engineer or technical support specialist in the CCTV/physical security industry
• Comprehensive understanding of CCTV systems, including cameras, video management software, network infrastructure, and integration with other security systems
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new products and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with both the sales team and manufacturers
• Good command of verbal and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
