The Head of Solutions Consulting is responsible for leading a team of solutions consultants focused on CCTV, access control, and surveillance systems. In this role, you will be the primary technical and sales expert, working closely with customers to understand their security requirements and design tailored solutions to meet their needs. You will collaborate with the product and engineering teams to provide feedback and requirements, ensuring our solutions remain competitive and cutting-edge. This is a senior leadership position that requires significant experience in the security technology industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5 sales/  solutions consultants responsible for pre-sales engineering, solution design, and post-sales support
• Serve as the primary technical expert and advisor to customers, walking them through needs assessment, solution design, and implementation planning
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to influence the roadmap and ensure our solutions meet market demands
• Provide mentorship and career development guidance to the solutions consulting team
• Participate in high-level sales meetings and product demonstrations as needed
• Monitor team performance, set goals, and conduct regular reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Holder; preferably in Engineering related field
• Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience in CCTV, access control, and/or physical security solutions, with 3 years as people management role 
• Proven track record of success in a solutions consulting, systems engineering, or technical sales leadership role
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management capabilities
• Good command of verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
